Hipet - a social network made for Romanian pets and pet lovers, owned by Mars Romania

We are a team of pet lovers and huggers (we also kiss, but not tell) and we are also fans of different social networks, researching and experimenting in the world of online sharing. Previous to this project, we had years of marketing, communication and coding experience under our furs. And so we put two and two together and hipet was born. We love this idea almost as much as we love our pets and that's why it developed a life of its own. We are eager to watch it grow, learn more and more new tricks and mature into a pleasant and helpful community for all pet owners.

The idea behind the site is to make possible the purest online reflection of people's love and enjoyment of their pets, regardless type, breed or size. As long as our members will want to communicate through their pets and find different ways to say meow, woof, squeak or else, we will keep creating new applications that suit their needs. Until now we've already added Dr. Vet & friends' answers, themed strolls (both by pet and owner), pet-personality matrix, treats, photo and video sharing, diaries, Adoptable pets or Petweds (the matting section). Despite all these awesome features, we feel like we're just getting started. For us this is an incredibly fun job that lets our creativity run wild. We could never say there is no love in what we do.
